Jennifer Lopez is going mum on her first child's birth. The soon-to-be mom is reportedly planning a Scientology birth, which requires her to deliver in silence.
Scientologists believe that silent birth will relieve the newborn of any stress the first week of their life. 38-year-old J. Lo is said to be influenced by Scientologist friend Leah Remini. Katie Holmes had also said to practice the silent birth when Suri was born in April 2006.
"Although she knows it will be hard not to scream, she understands why it will be good for the baby to have peace and quiet," a source was quoted.
Lopez had denied in interviews that she is a member of the high profile religion insisting that she was raised a Catholic. The Latina and her husband Marc Anthony announced during a November 7 concert that they are expecting their first child together.
