Pop star Gwen Stefani has denied rumors she is expecting her second child with husband Gavin Rossdale.

The Sweet Escape hitmaker fuelled speculation she was pregnant after telling reporters she planned to "make babies" in 2008.

But the 38-year-old insists the comments were made in jest.

Her spokesman tells Usmagazine.com, "She’s not pregnant." Stefani and Rossdale, 42, have a 20-month-old son, Kingston.
