Audrina Patridge has spoken out about the topless pictures of her that surfaced yesterday. ‘The Hills’ star says that they are meant to be “artistic.”

“I intended them to be artistic and not in any way provocative,” says the 22-year-old.

Patridge explains that the photos were taken soon after she graduated from high school. “I was naïve, overly trusting of people and inexperienced. I thought that to be a model you have to be comfortable in front of the camera,” she says.

Patridge added that she hopes “people can learn from my inexperience.”
