Forest Whitaker says his “Powder Blue” co-worker Patrick Swayze is “doing alright.”

“We did Powder Blue about a year ago. It’s the second movie I’ve produced that he was in and the third thing we’d done together,” Whitaker told Entertainment Tonight.

The actor said he was shocked to hear the news that Swayze has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. “I hear he’s doing alright,” Whitaker added.
