Radiohead have paid tribute to the late
Humphrey Lyttelton, who they collaborated with at the start of the century.
The host of
Radio 4's
'Sorry I Haven't A Clue', who played on the band's 2001's track
'Life In A Glasshouse', was admitted to hospital last week for surgery to repair an aortic aneurysm. He died after complications. He was 86.
On the
Radiohead website the band wrote: "We were all sorry to hear of
Humphrey Lyttleton 's death - he was an inspiring person to record with, and without his direction, we'd never have recorded/released
'Life in a Glasshouse'.
"So go and find
'Bad Penny Blues', and celebrate his life with some hot jazz......"
