Heartfelt messages from fans prompted Tina Turner to come out of retirement and tour again.
The 68-year-old star will kick off a North American tour in October, but she insists when she announced her retirement she meant it - and it took fans to bring her back.
Turner admits notes she received from devotees after her Grammy Awards performance with Beyonce earlier this year made her rethink her plans.
She says, "People would come up to me in the restaurant, in the ladies room, on the street and I started getting lots of little slips of paper and napkins with notes from fans.
"Some of them were so touching about my life, or a song and how it helped them. Each time I kept the note… and suddenly there was a pile. I called my manager and said, `It’s time!’"
