Eriq La Salle, a veteran of NBC's "ER," will join screen legend Cicely Tyson and Michael Beach in the upcoming Hallmark Channel movie "Relative Stranger."

According to the trades, La Salle plays an angry man who abandoned his wife, children and extended family six years ago. When his father dies, he returns to get what his dad left to him and reunites with his family in the process.

Tyson, most recently of "Madea's Family Reunion," plays La Salle's mom, and Beach ("Third Watch") his brother.

The film is expected to premiere around the holidays.
