Lauryn Hill has settled out of court with four musicians who wanted co-writing and co-production credits and a third of the profits for Hill's 1998 The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. The musicians, who work under the name New - Ark Entertainment claimed that they signed a publishing contract with Hill in 1997. They said they wrote and produced songs but Hill took all the credit. The lawsuit was filed in 1998 and a spokesperson from Sony Music Entertainment said that Hill settled with them last week for an undisclosed amount of money.
