After claiming the top spot on cable with his surprise hit Pimp My Ride and making a guest appearance on CBS’s CSI Miami, multi-platinum rapper Xzibit is set to conquer the big screen with fellow MC Ice Cube in the upcoming film XXX 2. Mr. X to the Z will play Ice Cube’s raspy voiced side kick.

However, the turbo charge duo won’t be smashing through Europe like the film’s original star Vin Diesel as the second installment of the high flying action series takes place in the urban confines of Washington D.C.

The film is slated for a 2005 release.
