I AM PERPLEXED BY THIS QUESTION, I BELIEVE THAT THE QUESTION OF THE SOUL WAS BEGUN BY PLATO. WHY WOULD ONE BELIEVE IN A SOUL?

Yes...every living thing has an essence, something that carries forward from lifetime to lifetime...but thats just me.

I don't believe in a soul.

We all have souls. that's why we all have character. Take away our souls and we'd just be skin with organs functioning with a human that can't make decisions for themselves.

I believe we all have souls becuz without one everyone would be emotional less and wouldn't know what to feel or why to feel it. Without a soul you'd be lost.

Yes. It is difficult to explain but there is something that is the defineing boundary between the mind and the body.

you must be deep to understand the meaning of soul, strictly philosophical meaning, no actual proof, but you'd know if you have one, I know I got soul...

First of all, I know you're wrong about Plato...just by the fact that every culture I've studied had some kind of concept of a soul...most of which were much older than the Greeks...

But as for the question...I believe every living thing has a soul. But it's a personal belieif but I can't think of anything to back it up...yet...I'm going to look into that.
