1. Intro

Fireworks are going off and then you hear gunshots mixed in with them

2. I Owe You [Produced By: Carlos "6 July" Broady](4.5)

A good start to the album, Royce comes out spitting hard
over a beat that resembles Fab's hit "Breathe" Royce's comes with straight fire off his chest

Expose all the nonsense they dont hear the lines then
They dont see the fine print or they dont really comprehend niggas pens
Been doin none of what ive been doin the last 7 years lookin for profit
I-O-W-E-U people more then just a video with bitches wherein see through
Clothing with the g-string, rollin wit the bling bling Posin for the press with the rolli in the vest

3. Ride (Feat. Big Herk & Juan) [Produced By: K.I.D.D.] (4)

My no means a show off track, Royce spits a nice flow over a solid beat
While Big Herk and Juan spit just well enough to be on the track...
I would have rather had Royce alone on this track

4. Wet My Whistle (Feat. Sara Stokes) [Produced By: Great Scott] (2.5)

Royce tries again to have a commercial success with this track, Targeting
the bitches in the club with this one...I personally can't stand when royce
does this...The track has a simple catchy beat that I can see girls loving..
but to hiphop heads I suggest you to skip...Worst song on Album

5. Politics Feat. (Cee-Lo Green) [Produced By: Nottz] (5)

One of my favorites on this album, A descent beat from Nottz and a nice
hook by Cee Lo, But what stands out is mos definitely royce's lyrics...
Spits some of the best shit to date... The last verse is incredible....

Royce Da 5 9 is a prophet in every sense of the word
Superb finisher administer words like ministers
The toll tale of the low sales of a poet
Centuries road up in the pen that he holds up, he holds it
the Holy Grail, when he sold his soul he was since told his flow is the de Vinci code, be coded,
since chosen he prays harder, but every time he spot a rivalry the revolver is in his bible like Gregory Hines,
with the rage of Harlem, po po's call him, team free on, we so cold,
red like bean, be on sight, we got weed neon green,
we got, A-1 yay celion deion white, breathe, your last breath,
you about 5 heart beats away from death, cuz you're the leon type,
make you rest in peace, no more records being sold unless its me five-nine un signed

6. Why You Looking At My Dog (Feat. Yo Gotti)[Produced By:"6 July"] (4)

Solid beat, descent hook, Yo gotti spits some alright lines,
not too impressive by any means, but then royce comes in and finishes
the song with the last two verses with a steller concrete flow, the 2nd verse is
one of my favorites on the album

7. Right Back (Feat. Juan & Kid Vicious) [Produced By: K.I.D.D.] (3)

I really didn't feel this one that much, the beat is nothing special,
Royce's verse is alright, same with Vicious and Juan

8. Skit

Recording of a guy talking about gun rights

9. Blow Dat... [Produced By: Nottz] (3.5)

Nottz ripps off a Public Enemy Beat for this track... nothing special
I had high hopes for this track but was let down by Nottz's production
Again Royce does a solid job holding down the lyrics...but the beat got
to me too much to rate this track higher

10. Chips On Pistons (Feat. Blade Icewood) [Produced By: K.I.D.D.] (4)

This track suprised me, at first I didn't feel it that much but after a while
the g funk beat got to me and it had me replaying it constantly..
Royce's first verse is just alright but his second one is purely raw...
And the late Blade Icewood holds his verse down...no complaints...
him and June are the only two out of all the features on this album to hold
their own with out royce blowing them out of the track

11. Skit

Two girls talking about sex

12. Fuck My Brains Out (Feat. June)[Produced By K.I.D.D.] (4)

This song is without a doubt a track that is Late night BET bound and
be blasting at evey club near you real soon....People I showed this song to
(mostly hiphop heads) didn't care for it that much but I must disagree
with them....I feel this is a rare "good" commercial track...June holds two
constant verses while royce spits fast and tears apart the track with is
witty lyric content and flow...the only down fall is that the hook could have
been better....but whatever still a rare "good" commercial track

13. Independent's Day [Produced By: Carlos "6 July" Broady] (4.5)

All I can say about this song is that every aspect of the song is good in
my book....definitely a song that sums up royce's out look of this cd

14. Meeting Of The Bosses [Produced By: Carlos "6 July" Broady] (3)

The beat sounds like it should be in a classic nintendo game..not feeling it
...royce spits slower and talks about being a ganster and shit....its alright
nothing to show off to anyone...its not a bad song nor a good one

15. Skit

A sound clip of a drive by

16. Paranoid (Feat. La the Darkman) [Produced By: Asar](4)

A slower beat...not bad in any means...a good listen...reminds me of
something that would be off of death is certain...really rugged lyrics...
La the darkman...spits nothing too good to bring up...rather again to have
royce by himself

17. Lay It Down (Feat. Juan & K- Doe) [Produced By: Great Scott](3)

The song isn't that bad at the start....the beat sounds nice and royce spits
some nice lines....but then the hook comes and totally down grades the
track.....and again nothing special from the features on the song....

18. Yeah !! [Produced By: Carlos "6 July" Broady] (5)

Hands down the best track on the album...6 July brings a sick beat
while royce yet again holds his own by ripping the track apart with
his frozen flow and lyrics...a really nice way to finish a solid album

weeding out static
holding what I would rather have and not need
and need to not have it
me without gats is like me without battling
beef without blasting, p without havoc
the born again rapper
sitting on enough classic tracks that could up a 40 gig apple
ipod, I'm God, all bets
I'm down like threats, I'm wow Yes!
plus I'ma teacher
niggas play hard but I'm way harder cuz' I can keep it up like levitra
big dick I could fit you up my urethra
sick spit like I must've been touched by jesus
like I must've been groped by diva
or fucked by model nope, you ain't been approached by either
you standing where your man's is at
I'm on staging getting paid controlling where y'all hands is at

Overall 3.75 - 4 out of 5

This album is definitely worth the money and time to check out.
Royce again comes with some hunger...spitting solid heat verse after verse.
I can't wait until he drops his next two albums...."Politics' produced
completely by Nottz dropping in Oct.....and "July 5th: the day after"
drops next year in feb.....3 studio albums in 18 months...shows his hunger
and how that hip hop is his life....many different feels to this album... so
for sure people will find that there are tracks that appeal to them

Not very good if you as me.

I'd give it 3/5 (and mostly because "Politics" is so damn dope).

It seems like Royce forgot all about Rock City and how people hated his attempts at doing radio/club songs ("Wet My Whistle" is pathetic in so many ways and "Chips On Pistons" isn't much better....that Icewood dude is wack as hell).

Royce is a dope MC but most of the songs has sloppy beats and his crossover attempts are worse than ever. He better step his game up for his next album.
