1. Crowd Pleasa 5/5
beat is tight, great way to start the CD off, and it's not a skit (as a matter of fact there are no skits on this whole album) and that scores some points. Rhymes are on point, chorus is sick
2. Natural Feel Good 4,5/5
If I was high, this would probably be 5/5. The beat is pretty sick, and I do like the smoking weed interlude, all and all this is a solid track
3. Hold On 4/5
This verses in this song stand out more than the previous two. Chorus is nothing special and beat could use less 'chime' noise.
4. Live in the Flesh 2/5
This song sucks. I hate the beat and all beats like it. You will hate the beat too.
5. Lights, Camera, Action. 4/5
This song has a really sick beat and great flow. It could have been a 5/5, it SHOULD have been a 5/5, but alas, the producer thought sticking the word "GO" sounded good when shouted and repeated during the chorus. ..sigh
6. Thats how it goes 4/5
The beat is pretty good, the rhymes are pretty good, the song is pretty good. Nothing outstanding enough to get it a 5/5
7. Up in da spot 3/5
This song is alright, but the chorus is some annoying bitch, and In my
opinon is wack
8. Rock it out 5/5
Im really feelin' this. The flow is great over the fast paced beat.
9. Nothin to Lose 3/5
This song really just isn't all that exciting. It reek's of meekness and is rather sub-par. Bustin out the SAT words for that shit son
10. Gun blast 4,5/5
definitly a dope track, gotta love the sample from Wu-Tang's C.R.E.M.E during the chorus. Dope verses as well.
11. Blow Shit Up (Army Edition) 4/5
I like the samples from various army movies during the song. The verse is pretty sick, chorus is good, adn some part's of the song actually made me laugh
12. Whats my name 4.5/5
bassline on this song is something else. Reminds me of the music that is played during Super MArio Bro's, you know when your in the caves and those dude with the blue shells that you can't kill when you jump on top of them once are.
13. No Matter 3,5/5
This beat is...for lack of a better word..weird. The verses are all on point
but the beat is kinda wack. Maybe it'll grow on me.
14. The Unusual 4.5/5
This is a great way to end the CD. A quick couple of verses from Sensei over a sick beat. gotta love the bongo sound with the funky guitar sample.
Overall Album Rating: 4/5
This album is definitly worth picken up. Sensei does a great job, the New Jersey sound is undeniable. There are no skits on this entire album, and
boy if that isn't refreshing. For the most part the beats are sick, and the
rhymes are always on point. El Da Sensei's album is a definite refresher.
