1. "Whatcha Got" (4)
2. "Lookin' At Me Sideways" (4)
3. "Truth Is" (4,5)
4. "The Puzzle" (4)
5. "Pedigree" (4)
6. "Daylight" (5)
7. "Freedom Ain't Free" (4,5)
8. "Letter From The Government" (4,5)
9. "Here" (5)
10. "Listen Up" (3)
11. "Take Me Home" (4)
12. "Uncle Sam Goddamn" (5)
13. "Walking Away" (4)
14. "Faheem" (4,5)
15. "Ear to Ear" (5)

Overall : 4,5/5

I've never really paid any attention to Brother Ali simply because he was affiliated with Atmosphere and I figured he would sound just like them....I've been a fucking fool.

This could very easily be the best album of 2007. Brother Ali is one of those rare emcees that are capable of tackling many different subject matters on the same album and still maintaining a focused sound and the beats (all done by Ant) fits him perfectly.

I have tons of things I want to write about this album but I'm too lazy at the moment. Y'all should check it out though, you won't be sorry!!

the dude is one of my favorites now...damn i love music, and certain people are the ones to blame...in a good way. ant's beats are ridiculous on this album too, i must add.

I bump this non-stop
I won't be surprised if this is still in rotation in 5 years

It's damn good (and I haven't even watched the DVD that came with the album yet)

Yeah, he really holds his own out here in Minneapolis where Atmosphere's amplification is just plain tired and annoying. Have you heard his first album, Rites of Passage. Hard to find, I managed to get a copy on cassette but, it's timeless and worth hearing!

"Truth Is" has had my head knoddin' for a minute now. Most magazines have given this album a great review as well.

Shit man the more I listen I can honestly there's not a song on this album I don't feel. Walking Away sticks out the most to me I could ride around all day and listen to that song, but the album as a whole is great. And the joint where he's talking to his son, Faheem, is fucking ill. I wish it was a little longer. I give this album a 4.5/5. Is his older stuff as good as this?
