From afar I feast a glimpse and scan through caramel tint
Fingertips that play the keys of life with so much soul
I’ll take her in any form just as long as that soul of hers still resides in it
Can’t say I’m in it to win it
Because prizes and trophies are won, blessings are bestowed and yes…she is the latter
Matter of fact, character is a trait she can’t wait to breathe unto each morning
Strong character, too
Because even though she should never take a hit
She the type to not take your….disrespect
“I quit,” speak the lips of desperate admirers
Exasperated because their minds never graduated class, since they didn’t show any in the first place
She’s first rate, first sight of such leaves hearts blushed and senses in a rush, I’m tellin’ you!
Creatively concerned with the expression of herself
I read every page of this book from the top shelf
And she has a story that I’m willing to do a thousand book reports of
Covering each and every angle that she offers to an eager mind’s processes
And even if these could just be all guesses, my confession of admiration warrants some merit
I can just tell by how she carries herself
She’s that perfect mix of multi-faceted and lasting ingredients
Since she infuses her flavors into many an appetite, including mine
See I’m busy speakin’, “she, she, she,” but lips are bursting from holdin’ back sentences describing, “we, we, we.”
