I enjoyed this album, and Brother Ali definitely has the potential to be an amazing artist. He's just not fully there in my opinion. At times he uses his voice wrong. He's got a voice that is either 100% raw or painfully mediocre depending on the tone he uses. There are a few occasions that he annoys the hell out of me. I dig the album, but I think he still has alot of room to grow. He's definitely come a long way from his previous work. Hopefully he doesn't turn into another emcee that depends on his voice too much though, which I feel he's on the borderline of becoming. Mr. Lif and Vast Aire came out blasting at first then they just started rhyming to hear their voice, and lost almost all the substance.
